Question for you, is it cheaper to buy these condiments from an American grocery store, or should I find a Korean or Oriental specialty food store? Thanks for the website. Very nicely done.

It is DEFINITELY CHEAPER to buy most of these items at an Asian grocery. Some of them cannot be found in an American grocery at all, and if you do they are a much inferior version. Or they are considered a "specialty" item and are priced accordingly.
